The Branch cutter is (or should be) the workhorse of any bonsai enthusiasts toolbox. Once you have got rid of the branch then the knob cutter is used to nib away at the stump to give you a perfect spherical cut. Don't forget that you will need a would sealant or cut paste to cover the open wound otherwise it may get infected and could lead to problems within the tree.
